Privacy Policy — Tazawwad

In short: we do not collect any personal data about you, and we do not send anything about you to anyone. Tazawwad runs on your device, and your data stays with you.

Your data stays on your device

Everything about you — your progress in daily portions and remembrances, the counter, favorites, bookmarks, and settings — is stored only on your device. We do not see it, access it, or keep it on any server.

Location

If you allow it, we use your device location to determine the local sunset (Maghrib) time so that related reminders appear at the correct moment (such as the reminder in the hour before Maghrib). The app does not calculate prayer times. Your location stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party. You may decline the permission and choose your city manually; the app keeps working.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled and shown locally on your device and never pass through any server of ours.

Content from the internet

The app fetches Qur’an text, audio recitations, and tafsir from public Islamic services (including api.alquran.cloud, quranenc.com, everyayah.com, mp3quran.net, archive.org, and cdn.islamic.network). These requests contain only the requested surah or verse and no personal information about you. If you choose a video reciter, the clip plays through a privacy-mode YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com). (The Mushaf works fully offline.)

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No advertising.
• No tracking, analytics, or third-party monitoring tools.
• No selling or sharing of any data (we simply do not collect it).

Children

The app is suitable for everyone and collects no data from anyone.
